Dylan Thomas centenary
In 2014, Visit Wales partnered with the Telegraph to celebrate the centenary of Dylan Thomas’s birth.
As well as running sponsored articles in print, the newspaper created a microsite that hosted videos, poetry readings, interactive maps and competitions.
The backbone of the campaign was a portfolio of 100 short features about Dylan’s life, work and surroundings. I was commissioned to write several of these.
▶ UNDER MILK WOOD: THE FIRST SOAP OPERA?
▶ PLACES THAT INSPIRED UNDER MILK WOOD
▶ DYLAN THOMAS’S LONDON
▶ RE-IMAGINING DYLAN ON STAGE
▶ FERNHILL FARM
▶ DYLAN’S FAVOURITE PUB: BROWNS HOTEL
▶ DYLAN AND WELSH PRIDE
▶ A LAND OF POETS AND KINGS
▶ CLASSIC WELSH WALKS
▶ THE LLANSTEFFAN PENINSULA
▶ HIDDEN WELSH CASTLES
